PLAYGROUND
Toys built to prove a point: if we can make it in a browser, we can make it for you.
Experiment 05.1
Graffiti wall
Spray paint with physics. Slow strokes lay more paint, and paint that pools starts to drip.
How it works: Spray density follows your speed; a wetness map spawns drips that run down and end in a drop.
Experiment 05.2
Type gravity
Type a word and drop it. Every letter is a body you can grab, throw and stack. Some words drop more than letters.
How it works: Letters are circles in a small rigid-body simulation with gravity, bounces, friction and spin.
Experiment 05.3
Distortion chamber
A real-time 3D sculpture you can twist, melt and spike. Play a note or switch on the microphone and it reacts.
How it works: Vertex shaders displace the mesh with simplex noise; the audio level feeds the displacement live.
Experiment 05.4
SUBJECT 94 sandbox
Take the controls of the 3D character: his expressions, his poses, his turntable and his voice.
How it works: The same rig that guides you around the ring, posed live by procedural animation.
In the 3D version he acts these out for real. Here you get his face.
Experiment 05.5
Cursor lab
Swap the cursor for the whole site. Your choice follows you to the other stations.
How it works: A tiny render loop draws the cursor, its trail and its labels on top of everything.
